Hello! Welcome to the online headquarters for my campaign. I'm glad you're here.

Never did I imagine I would become involved in government – but the time is now. I have watched our government spend money as if there is no tomorrow, but the reality is that the tomorrow will be felt by my eight year old daughter when she is an adult. Her share of the National Debt is $351,500 (and growing), and she hasn’t even finished second grade. This legacy for the next generation is immoral and unacceptable.

There are excellent candidates running for the available seats in the Michigan and Federal legislature who will start the process of fiscal reform. On the local level, I am running for County Commissioner in the Second District. I feel that change starts at the local level and if elected I will focus on keeping Washtenaw County safe and government accountable. There seems to be a policy in government to spend “other people’s money” mostly for creating blocks of voters to ensure reelection but without regard to the long range unintended negative consequences. I will make sure money is spent wisely and there is a return on the investment for the citizens – not the politicians.

I have no intention of becoming a career politician. But also I do not want to look in the mirror years from now regretting that I didn’t at least try to change my daughter’s legacy for the better. I ask for your support August 3rd in the primary and general election November 2nd any way you see fit.
